Trump Eyes Pro-Life Advocates for Running Mate, Faces Extremist Labels

Breaking news: Former President Donald Trump is looking at several pro-life advocates as his potential running mate for the upcoming election, according to LifeNews.com. The incumbent Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris has already made it clear that Democrats plan to label anyone tied to Trump as an extremist, regardless of who he picks as his running mate.

The pro-abortion activist group Emily’s List has launched an initiative called “On Notice” to track and disparage the pro-life records of individuals on Trump’s running mate shortlist. The project focuses on renowned neurosurgeon and former Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson; Governors Doug Burgum (R-N. D.), Ron DeSantis (R-Fla.), and Sarah Huckabee Sanders (R-Ark.); Senators Katie Britt (R-Ala.), Tom Cotton (R-Ark.), Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), Tim Scott (R-S.C.), and J.D. Vance (R-Ohio); as well as U.S. House representatives, businesspeople, and diplomats.

The Democratic National Committee (DNC) has also initiated a similar campaign, called the “MAGA Veepstakes,” focusing on potential running mates’ support for Trump-era economic and tax policies. However, polling has indicated that voters are deeply dissatisfied with President Joe Biden’s economic policies, despite the DNC’s claims.

FRC Action Director Matt Carpenter commented on the situation, stating that “Republicans want voters to choose a candidate based entirely on their recent job performance in this role. Poll after poll shows voters want the president to address the skyrocketing cost of living, the border, rising crime, and they want the gender ideology and woke stuff to cease.”

In other news, Donald Trump spent his 78th birthday being feted by Republicans in Congress who sang “Happy Birthday” and presented him with a cake and gifts. Trump hinted that his pick for vice president was “probably” in the room after having last week revealed a list of eight individuals whom he was vetting that included two House members and three senators.

Among the senators who attended the gathering was Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, who endorsed Trump earlier this year despite not having spoken since 2020. Sen. John Barrasso of Wyoming then added two more candles with the numerals 4 and 7, stating “We’re all committed to make sure he becomes the 47th president.”

In a separate incident, conservative actor James Woods has again taken aim at Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) with a hilarious comment. Woods tweeted, “Seriously, did she ever attend high school?” in response to AOC’s laughable demand that Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito recuse himself from January 6th cases. AOC appeared on MSNBC to express her misguided views on the matter, showing her usual disregard for the principles of judicial independence.

Woods’ tweet reflects a broader sentiment among conservatives that AOC often speaks without fully grasping the issues at hand. His comment encapsulates the frustration many feel towards her endless grandstanding and lack of real solutions.
