Pro-Palestinian Protester Demands Zionists Identify Themselves on NYC Subway

Here's the latest on the current state of affairs in the United States:

A pro-Palestinian protester was caught on video in New York City, demanding that Zionists identify themselves on a crowded subway train.

The incident occurred at the 14th Street-Union Square subway station, where the protester led a call-and-response chant, ordering Zionists to raise their hands.

The man leading the chant then stated, "OK, no Zionists, we're good."

The New York City Police Department is currently looking for the man who shouted those words and is asking other riders who were aboard that subway car and felt threatened to come forward.

Police sources told ABC News that detectives are looking to file charges of attempted coercion.

City officials are also looking into how to again make it illegal to wear masks at protests, as the city's anti-mask laws date back nearly 200 years and were used in the days of Ku Klux Klan protests.

Mayor Eric Adams has been clear: New York City will always protect the right to free speech, but will never allow the city to descend into lawlessness.

In other news, the adult entertainment industry is challenging an Indiana law that requires pornographic websites to verify users' ages.

The law, signed by Republican Gov. Eric Holcomb in March, allows the state's attorney general and individuals to bring legal action against a website's operator if material "harmful to minors" is accessible to users under the age of 18.

Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita said in a post on X that he looks forward to defending the law in court.

"Children shouldn't be able to easily access explicit material that can cause them harm," the post said. "It's commonsense."

Finally, Rep. Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., claimed this week that former President Donald Trump's family should stage an "intervention" for him.

Pelosi's rhetoric was, of course, a projection in its own right, as Democrats have begun to accuse Republicans—and Trump in particular—of the very behaviors in which they themselves are engaging.

Pelosi went on to suggest that the reason those within Trump's inner circle don't agree with her diagnosis is because they don't "love" him enough.

She added that the Republican Party also needs to stage its own "intervention" with Trump following his meeting with congressional Republicans in Washington, D. C. on Thursday.

Pelosi—who was in damage-control mode after a video of her admitting culpability for the Jan. 6 uprising surfaced earlier this week—did her best to deflect blame and pin it back onto Trump.

The former president and presumptive 2024 presidential nominee met with congressional Republicans on Capitol Hill for the first time since the ill-fated 2021 rally resulted in a disruption to the Joint Session of Congress that was meeting to certify the Electoral College vote for Joe Biden.

During his meeting with Republicans, Trump reportedly blasted Pelosi and her daughter, Christine Pelosi.

Christine Pelosi responded to the news, calling Trump "unwell, unhinged, and unfit to step foot anywhere near" her mother.
