The tragic rape and murder of 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray in Houston has sparked outrage and calls for action from Texas Senator Ted Cruz and the victim's family. The suspects, Johan Jose Martinez-Rangel and Franklin Jose Pena Ramos, are both illegal immigrants from Venezuela who were wearing ICE ankle monitors at the time of the crime.

Jocelyn's mother, Alexis Nungaray, spoke out on Fox News' "Hannity" about the horrific ordeal, saying "it's definitely been something that's been hard to grasp for reality." She emphasized the need for change, stating "we have to stop burying our kids. This is not right. We have to have more reinforcement when it comes to letting people in. This is not okay."

Senator Ted Cruz also appeared on "Hannity" to discuss the crime, calling for stricter border control and the execution of the suspects. "Let me be very clear, these bastards should be executed and they should burn in the pits of hell," Cruz declared. "But we shouldn't have to be talking about this because Jocelyn should still with us, and every day, this administration is releasing more and more and more illegal aliens who are going on to kill people day after day after day."

Cruz also criticized the Biden administration's handling of the border crisis, stating "we need to demand, stop -- stop allowing this invasion, stop releasing violent criminals, protect our kids." He expressed a sense of urgency for people to stand up and say "enough is enough."

The tragic death of Jocelyn Nungaray is a stark reminder of the consequences of open border policies. As the family of Jocelyn Nungaray grieves, we must all come together to demand change and protect our citizens.
