BREAKING: American Airlines Pilot Faces Trouble, But It's Not What You Think

An American Airlines pilot riding as a passenger on a flight from Dallas to Kansas City was assaulted by an angry passenger in the Kansas City International Airport after the passengers exited the aircraft. Allegedly, the off-duty pilot was "taking up too much room in the aisle" and "being disrespectful". See video of the altercation at the bottom! From The NY Post: An irate American Airlines passenger was caught on video shoving an off-duty pilot at Kansas City International Airport shortly after both got off their flight, according to reports. The squabble began on the plane, which arrived from Dallas on April 12. Edward N. Foster, 49, claimed the pilot was taking up too much room in the aisle and being disrespectful, according to a police report obtained by KMBC. Once inside the airport, Foster tried to snap a picture of the pilot’s badge — but the pilot raised his left hand to get the phone “out of his face,” the report said. Foster then shoved the pilot twice, causing him to fall backward over his luggage in the concourse of the airport’s Terminal C, the video shows. A source told KMBC that the pilot was an American Airlines employee, though airline rep Ross Feinstein would not confirm that. “We are not going to comment on a pending investigation by law enforcement,” Feinstein told the station. The pilot was flying as a passenger, according to the station. The video also shows Foster following the pilot outside the airport, where his wife was waiting in a vehicle, the police report said. Foster told police he wanted to take a picture of the license plate, according to the report. The pilot initially declined to prosecute, but returned to the airport the next day to be interviewed by detectives, the station reported. Foster was cited two days after the incident for intentionally inflicting bodily injury, a municipal violation, according to court documents obtained by the station. The pilot had cuts on his legs and bruising on his forearm, the documents said. Read more: (Link: nypost.com)
