**Rats Run Rampant as Liberal Policies Fail in California's Largest City**

Los Angeles, once a shining example of the California Dream, is now the proud owner of a less-than-flattering title: the "rattiest city" in America.

A recent report from pest control company Orkin has revealed that Los Angeles has dethroned Chicago in rodent activity, an alarming testament to the city’s deteriorating urban conditions under Democratic leadership.

This year's survey marks a significant shift after Chicago held the dubious title for over a decade.

Los Angeles’ infamous problems with homelessness, exacerbated by ineffective policies from elected officials like Governor Gavin Newsom and Mayor Karen Bass, have created an environment ripe for infestation.

With over 70,000 homeless individuals reported in the city, conditions in areas like Skid Row have become dire, to the point where residents note rats “rotting in the walls” of low-cost housing units.

Amid ongoing readability concerns surrounding homelessness, city leaders have turned their attention to more symbolic legislative measures.

Earlier this year, Newsom signed a law aimed at restricting the use of certain rodenticides, ostensibly to protect wildlife like mountain lions.

While concern for wildlife is commendable, this move does little to address the rampant rat populations that have shown an alarming increase due to the lack of comprehensive urban management.

Liberal policies seem to have prioritized the safety of wildlife over addressing public health issues stemming from rodent infestations.

Rather than taking decisive action to improve conditions, these leaders have adhered to ineffective rhetoric and token regulations.

Los Angeles is a vivid representation of how far leftist governance can erode the quality of life for everyday citizens.

As cities governed by conservative principles continue to thrive, the failure of progressive policies in California should serve as a wake-up call for voters.

The changing tides in rodent rankings reveal the urgent need for leadership focused on real solutions, rather than symbolic gestures.

America deserves better than rodent-infested, poorly managed cities. It's time to return to policies that prioritize public health and safety.
