### Outrage: Ithaca College's New Course Promotes Radical Feminism and Political Activism

In a troubling development, Ithaca College is set to introduce a course designed to arm students with the tools to oppose what it terms “abortion bans” and “anti-LGBTQ+ legislation.”

Titled "Feminist Theory," this course will encourage students to dissect contemporary issues through an “Intersectional Feminist Lens,” highlighting a growing trend in academia to prioritize ideology over critical thinking.

The course description raises eyebrows with divisive questions such as, “How should we interpret and resist abortion bans and anti-LGBT legislation?” and “What does intersectional policy look like?”

Such rhetoric suggests an emphasis on activism rather than education, with students likely being indoctrinated in the latest left-wing dogmas rather than encouraged to explore diverse viewpoints.

Worse still, this program is labeled a core requirement for those pursuing a Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies major, effectively mandating that students partake in a curriculum steeped in progressive ideology.

Assistant Politics Professor Sumru Atuk, who penned the course description, presents herself as a “feminist political theorist.”

This revelation raises concerns about the potential bias in the classroom, where discussions may be less about fostering open dialogue and more about pushing a specific agenda.

The implications of such a course extend beyond the classroom into society at large, promoting a culture that aims to dismantle traditional values and legal frameworks.

Moreover, it reflects a troubling trend across higher education institutions, where controversial topics such as police reform and gender struggles are explored not for academic rigor, but for political mobilization.

It's vital for parents and prospective students to be aware of these developments, as they suggest a broader, coordinated effort to shape young minds in accordance with radical political movements.

As academic spaces increasingly devote themselves to ideological teachings, the importance of critical thinking and diverse perspectives is at risk of being overshadowed.

Ithaca College’s initiative serves as a stark reminder of the ideological divides in today’s education system, and the need for a counter-movement that champions traditional values and verifiable truths.
