After waiting more than a year, Jared Kushner has finally been approved.
Kushner was targeted by the media for only having a temporary secuirty clearance while working for the Trump administration, but now has been granted his permanent security clearance after his passing his background check. I guess there's no issues with Russian collusion.

White House senior adviser Jared Kushner has received a permanent security clearance more than a year after he joined the Trump administration, The Hill has confirmed.
Kushner, President Trump's son-in-law, had been operating with an interim clearance until now.
The New York Times first reported the development, citing a source who said the clearance was approved by career staffers at the FBI after the agency completed his background check.
The source added that President Trump was not involved in the process.
It's about time. According to Kushner's attorney, everything was done in the normal proper way, following normal procedure. It just took this long for the process. There's also the possibility that certain individuals involved in the process were desperately looking for something to keep Kushner from acquiring his clearance.
