From White House Chief of Staff John Kelly expects the Trump administration to grant the release of a memo written by Democrats on the House Intelligence Committee that will likely stand in contrast to one recently issued by panel Republicans, according to a source who spoke with Kelly. The House Intelligence Committee is one of three congressional panels investigating Russia’s meddling in the 2016 presidential election and any links to political campaigns. On Tuesday, Kelly told a source close to the White House that President Donald Trump had not yet reviewed the Democratic memo, but that he expected the White House to approve its release—with some minor redactions for security reasons.
