Mainstream media has gone out of its way to criticize NRA spokeswoman Dana Loesch for her conduct at an “unscripted” town hall hosted by CNN. In particular, The Hill has published a story centered on the account of one of the conference’s attendees which mocked Loesch for “lying” about what occurred:
“As someone who was there front row, the crowd was not cheering ‘burn her’ as she walked off stage,” the student, whose name is Natasha, posted on Twitter. “We yelled ‘shame on you’ instead. Why does she insist on lying? Does she and the NRA feel threatened by us?”
In a Thursday speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), Loesch told the audience that as she left the town hall stage, attendees were screaming “burn her.”
“I had to have a security detail to get out. I wouldn’t have been able to exit that if I didn’t have a private security detail,” Loesch said. “There were people rushing the stage and screaming ‘burn her.’”
The Hill was anything but alone – Ian Millhiser of Think Progress went out of his way to insult Loesch, mocking her and her husband as “snowflakes” who needed a “safe space” in response to Chris Loesch’s comments:
Upon reviewing footage from CNN's town hall, Reddit user 324JL noticed something fishy about the crumpled piece of paper anti-gun advocate Emma Gonzalez was reading her question off of and asked, "Who writes their name on their own question?"

CNN Is Actually Doing It! They're Defending The Florida School Shooter!
In the previous weeks, CNN and many members of the mainstream media were called out for their gushing reviews of North Korea dictator Kim Jong-un's sister at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Seoul.
CNN's latest headline now seemingly defends the Florida school shooter:
Trump Just Responded To the Claim That CNN Scripted the Town Hall!
President Trump on Thursday took to twitter
and responded to the allegation that CNN has scripted their town hall with victims from the Florida School Shooting.
The Daily Wire reported: On Thursday evening, a school shooting survivor doubled down on his allegation that CNN "scripted" questions for its chaotic gun control town hall, which devolved into pro-gun control members of the audience shouting down pro-Second Amendment speakers, including NRA spokeswoman Dana Loesch. In response, President Trump took to Twitter to slam "Fake News" CNN for its handling of the event.
Colton Haab, an ROTC student who heroically shielded his fellow students with Kevlar during the horrific mass shooting, told Fox News' Tucker Carlson Thursday that CNN producer Carrie Stevenson reached out to him about appearing at the town hall but then last second told him he could only ask the question written out for him by CNN, and told him to "stick to the script" (partial transcript below).
"I gave [Stevenson] my questions and then yesterday, at about 5:15, I made contact with her," said Haab. "And she had asked if I had just asked her one question. So what they had actually done was wrote out a question for me because in my interview with CNN, I had talked about arming the teachers, if they were willing to arm themselves in the school to carry on campus. And they had — she had taken that of what I had briefed on and actually wrote that question out for me."
Trump responded to the interview by blasting his least favorite network for producing more "fake news."
"'School shooting survivor says he quit @CNN Town Hall after refusing scripted question.' @TuckerCarlson. Just like so much of CNN, Fake News. That’s why their ratings are so bad! MSNBC may be worse," wrote Trump.
Haab's accusation was followed by another accusation of agenda-driven reporting against CNN, this time leveled by a parent of one of the student survivors, who came forward Thursday night to accuse CNN of deliberately trying to find people to interview who would "espouse a certain narrative which was taking the tragedy and turning it into a policy debate."
