A Protestor briefly disrupted President Trump’s CPAC speech before be was ushered out of the hall on Friday.
The Hill reported: NATIONAL HARBOR, Md. - A protester briefly interrupted President Trump as he addressed the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) on Friday, before quickly being ushered out of the hall.
As Trump began to run down his administration's biggest achievement - tax reform and the confirmation of new federal judges - a man toward the front of the stage began jeering him.
The man was quickly removed from the hall as thousands of attendees, many of them wearing the Trump campaign's signature red "Make America Great Again" hats, booed him and chanted "USA."
Trump stopped his speech to wait until the interruption subsided, before jokingly asking the organizers of the group how the protester got into the hall. He then turned to chastise the media by joking that the "fake news" would focus on the protester, instead of his speech.
"For the media, the fake news back there, they took very good care of them, they were very gentle, he was very obnoxious," he said.
"Tomorrow the headline will be: Protesters disturb. One person - doesn't deserve a mention, doesn't deserve a headline."
Protesters regularly interrupted Trump during the campaign, with some media coverage detailing incidents that turned violent. During the president's speech last year at CPAC, someone handed out Trump flags that looked like the Russian flag, tricking some in the hall into waving them.
