Florida High School Student Slams Media Of Politicizing Shooting Instead of Focusing On Victims

Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School student Brandon Minoff isn't joining other Florida high school students in their pro-gun control protests. Instead, Minoff is calling out the media for politicizing the tragic Florida shooting by using it to promote the gun control narrative.


From dailywire.com: In an interview with The Daily Wire, a student from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida said on Sunday that he thinks the media is politicizing the recent shooting at his high school instead of focusing on the students who lost their lives. Brandon Minoff, who previously appeared on MSNBC and CNN to discuss the shooting, told The Daily Wire on Sunday that he thinks the media is using the shooting as an opportunity to push for gun control more than they are reporting the facts as neutral observers. "I think it’s the media," Minoff said, referring to whom he believes is promoting the gun control narrative in response to the shooting. "They exploit everything to make it political. Look Who Wants The Florida Shooter Executed!

Although he has his reservations concerning the death penalty on a broader scheme, Sen. Marco Rubio believes the Florida shooter should be executed.


From The Hill: Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) said he believes the person who opened fire last week at a Florida high school should be executed. During an interview with CBS Miami, Rubio was asked whether he believes Nikolas Cruz, who has been charged with 17 counts of premeditated murder, should get the death penalty.
