Check Out The Media's Double Standard On Trump Vs. Obama Visiting Shooting Victims

The media has criticized President Trump for smiling in photos with victims, but President Obama did the same thing and it went unmentioned.

From The Daily Caller:

President Trump was harshly criticized in the media for smiling and giving a thumbs up while visiting victims of the Florida school shooting.

Trump and the first lady visited a hospital near Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida Friday night to comfort the victims and family members of the attack perpetrated by a deranged gunman last week.

A number of photos were released of POTUS and Melania smiling while visiting with staff and families and first responders.

President Trump was harshly criticized for the images, with some saying the grinning was inappropriate for the grim occasion.

However, a look back to the Obama administration shows similar behavior by the then President in the wake of the Aurora Colorado shooting. On July 16, 2015, James Holmes opened fire on a packed theater in Colorado, killing 12 and injuring 70 more.

Obama traveled to Aurora soon thereafter to comfort the families and victims. Obama smiled and hugged the families and victims of the shooting, much like Trump did.

Nunes Says Obama Failed!

Devin Nunes believes the Obama administration is responsible for the Russian interference. Nunes says Obama failed to act when given intelligence on what Russia was up to. reports: House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes, R-Calif., blamed the Obama administration for not heeding his committee's warnings of Russian election meddling after special counsel Robert Mueller announced an indictment against 13 Russian nationals and three Russian entities for interfering in the 2016 presidential contest. In Mueller's indictment, unveiled Friday, it said the attempt to interfere with the 2016 election began in May 2014 with the stated goal of “spreading distrust towards candidates and the political system in general.” In a statement Friday afternoon, Nunes said the Obama administration "failed to act on the Committee’s warnings," but offered a congratulatory nod to Mueller's efforts. "Although the Obama Administration failed to act on the Committee’s warnings, it’s gratifying to see that Russian agents involved in these operations have now been identified and indicted," Nunes said. more @ (Link: Please share and comment.
