Update On NSA Shooting - They Tried To Break In!

Updating an earlier item, two men tried to ram the gate at the NSA's main campus in Maryland. They were driving a stolen Ford Escape.

One of the intruders was killed and another was injured, and a security guard was also injured, presumably shot.

Two men who tried to ram the gate at the NSA's main campus in Fort Meade, Maryland in a stolen Ford Escape were shot this morning by a security guard, according to the Baltimore Sun.

One of the attempted intruders was killed, while the other was wounded. A security guard was also injured.


Maryland State Highway Administration has shut down MD 32 in both directions at Canine Road in response.

BREAKING: At Least 3 People Shot Near NSA Campus!

At least three people have been shot so far at an NSA campus in Maryland. From WBAL.com: At least three people have been shot near the NSA campus on MD 32, Jim Russ reports. None of the injuries are feared to be life-threatening at this point. The shooter is now reportedly in custody and a police officer was also one of those injured. Route 32 is closed in both directions. Nobody is being allowed on the NSA campus at this time. The Anne Arundel Police Department is not the investigating agency, the department said on Twitter.
