Barack and Michelle Obama have just taken the stage at the unveiling for their official portraits at the Smithsonian.

ABC News reported: Barack Obama's portrait was painted by Kehinde Wiley — an artist best known for his vibrant, large-scale paintings of African-Americans. For Michelle Obama's portrait, the gallery commissioned Baltimore-based artist Amy Sherald, first-prize winner of the Portrait Gallery's 2016 Outwin Boochever Portrait Competition. The paintings were being unveiled Monday at the gallery, which is part of the Smithsonian group of museums. The gallery has a complete collection of presidential portraits. President Trump is set to release his infrastructure plan tomorrow. The administration is looking to avoid following into the Obama stimulus trap with this new plan. reports: The Trump administration hopes that $200 billion in new federal infrastructure spending over the next ten years can trigger up to $1.8 trillion in investments by the private sector plus state and local governments, to the benefit of roads, bridges and jobs.
