White House press secretary Jen Psaki pushed back when Fox News reporter Kristen Fisher asked about direct comments from President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.
Fisher asked during Tuesday’s White House press briefing whether Harris or Biden would be commenting directly on sexual misconduct accusations made by three different women — one of whom worked on the Biden/Harris campaign team — against Democratic New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo.
Fisher began by noting that Cuomo’s third accuser, Anna Ruch — who said Cuomo had placed his hand on her bare back, calling her “aggressive” when she moved it away — had worked for Biden’s presidential campaign.
Going on to mention Harris’ outspoken calls for women to be heard and believed when the accusations had been leveled against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, Fisher asked whether the American people could expect a similar statement from Harris with regard to Cuomo.
