Brazil's President says he will REFUSE to take Covid-19 vaccine 

Brazil's president Jair Bolsonaro has said he will not take a Covid-19 vaccine even after it receives approval from his own government.

In a video shared to social media on Thursday, Bolsonaro said: 'I'm telling you, I won't take it (the vaccine). It is my right.'

Brazil has recorded more than 170,000 coronavirus deaths, making it the second-worst hit nation in the world.

The US has recorded the most deaths due to Covid-19 since the pandemic began, with its official toll standing at 263,455.

Bolsonaro faces criticism for his handling of the pandemic, which has included playing down the virus, opposing lockdown measures and relentlessly promoting the drug hydroxychloroquine despite studies showing it is ineffective against Covid-19.
