Aviation supply chain company Incora is moving its global headquarters from southern California to Fort Worth, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott’s office said Tuesday.
Incora, which was previously known as Wesco Aircraft Hardware Corp. and already has two offices in Fort Worth, is planning a $6 million capital investment at the new facility that could have up to 239 workers, the governor’s office said.
“Texas has cultivated a strong economic climate with low taxes, reasonable regulations and a high-caliber workforce, which allows companies like Wesco to innovate and prosper,” said a statement from Abbott. “As a thriving aviation and aerospace hub, Fort Worth is the ideal location for Wesco to continue to grow its operations and serve its customers.”
In February, the company announced that it was adding 200,000 square feet of space at a distribution center in Northlake, just north of Fort Worth.
Incora, which has about 4,000 employees at 50 facilities nationwide, was bought by Hollywood-based private equity firm Platinum Equity in January for $1.9 billion and said then that it would be headquartered in Santa Clarita, Calif. As part of that deal, Wesco merged with U. K.-based Pattonair.
