Some Democrats Fear Kanye West Will Take Votes Away from Biden and Help Trump

With a stunning July 4th tweet, Rapper Kanye West claimed he is “running for President of the United States.”

We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future. I am running for president of the United States! #2020VISION

West has been known for making wild, provocative claims and it’s unclear at this point whether he’s serious or trolling.

However, that has not stopped Twitter users from speculating on the potential impact if West is serious.

Many Democrats expressed fear that West would take votes away from Biden, similar to how Jill Stein is believed to have hurt Hillary Clinton in 2016.
