Amy Cooper, infamous Central Park ‘Karen,’ gets dog returned to her by animal rescue group

The Central Park “Karen” has gotten her dog back.

The pooch was returned to Amy Cooper, the white woman who became a viral villain after she called cops on a black birdwatcher who complained about her unleashed dog, according to the animal rescue group that was caring for the canine.

“Abandoned Angels would like to express its gratitude for the outpouring of support regarding the dog that was recently placed in our custody, following release of a troubling video that was brought to our attention,” the group wrote on Facebook on Wednesday.

They said the dog, Henry, had been “evaluated by our veterinarian,” who found it to be healthy. Since city officials did not want to take the dog, it was returned to its owner....(Read more)
