Valerie Jarrett Sparks Backlash After Saying Her Former Boss Obama Would Have Handled Crisis "Much Better"

Amid the coronavirus pandemic that has all hands on deck to save lives, former Obama Senior Adviser Valerie Jarrett chose to tweet this:

Someone asked me today how would @BarackObama have handled this crisis? Answer in one word – Better. Ok, two words. Much better.

Not everyone appreciated the tweet and the claim sparked backlash on Twitter, with nearly all the replies to her being negative.

Rep. Dan Crenshaw fired back:

“Why do so many Obama administration staffers constantly try to make Americans feel awful? Highlighting policy differences is expected – but this level of vitriol? During this pandemic? Why?”
