Mnuchin warns U.K. over plans for a digital tax - www.oann.com

Excerpts from article:

...Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin said the U.S. looks forward to a new trade deal with the U.K., but cautioned Britain over it's plans for a digital tax.

...During a panel discussion at the World Economic Forum Wednesday, Mnuchin said making a trade agreement with the U.K. is "a big priority" for the Trump administration.

...Secretary Mnuchin also said the administration thinks the digital tax is discriminatory in nature and warned the U.K. of retaliation if it imposes the tax on U.S. tech companies.

..."I think we've been pretty clear that we think that the digital tax is discriminatory in nature. There's an OECD process that we're participating in. International tax issues are very complicated. They take long times to look at and, you know, if people want to just arbitrarily put taxes on our digital companies, we'll consider arbitrarily putting taxes on car companies."
